Original Apple II Prince of Persia source code published by creator
The source code of the classic Apple II game Prince of Persia has been published on GitHub by Jordan Mechner, the original author. The game, which was first published by Broderbund in 1989, was developed in 6502 assembly. With the help of Apple II enthusiast Tony Diaz, the code was recovered recently from a 22-year old floppy disk.

Cinemagraphs, or still images that have a dash of movement, have become very popular as of late. So popular, in fact, that Microsoft Research is jumping onto the bandwagon. The company has released a new tool for creating cinemagraphs, which they call “cliplets”:

Google Street View Images Now Online In Israel
Although a formal launch is planned for this weekend, Google’s Street View imagery for Israel is already online. It marks the first time Google has put street photographs online from any Middle Eastern country.
